VIDEO: Statement from Chief about Shooting

Chief Eddie Salame of the Grapevine (Texas) PD addresses his officer’s use of force and comments on dashcam video captured at the scene.

A Tarrant County Grand Jury has issued a no-bill in the case of Grapevine police officer Robert Clark, who used deadly force during a felony traffic stop in February. The Tarrant County District Attorney’s office has released dashcam video of the incident which shows Ruben Villalpando leading the officer on a high-speed chase and then ignoring repeated lawful orders to stay in his vehicle and not approach the officer.
