DASHCAM: N.J. Car Chase Nabs Murder Suspect

The dashboard camera on a Palisades Interstate Parkway police car captured officers in a dramatic 20-mile pursuit of a murder suspect.

David Campos, 45, crossed into New Jersey after being spotted by state troopers in New York Monday morning, according to authorities. Police were searching for Campos in connection with the stabbing death of his former girlfriend, Denise Gely, 44, in Troy, New York, the Albany Times Union reported.

Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department officers picked up the chase on the highway’s New Jersey section, the department said.
