BODYCAM: Woman Claims Abuse after Shoplifting Arrest

February 23, 2016

29-year-old Tiffany Tebo is accusing Pasco County (Fla.) sheriffs deputies of using excessive force during her arrest for shoplifting at a Bealls department store.

Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco stands by the deputy’s actions. “We’re trying to put handcuffs on her, she’s trying to fight. I know people will say she’s tiny but a lot of tiny people cause harm,” says Nocco.

If she would’ve complied, he says, none of this would’ve happened.
