VIDEO: Fight in Los Angeles McDonalds

July 6, 2017

A fight broke out between a few people and a security guard at a Santa Monica McDonald’s early Wednesday morning, and it was all captured on video.

The fight happened at the McDonald’s on 2nd and Colorado streets around 5 a.m., according to the witness who recorded the incident.

The witness said fights happen often at the location and many homeless people sleep in the area.

The fight the person recorded involved customers who were drinking beer inside the restaurant but who had not purchased food, according to the witness. They said the security guard went up to the group, asking them to leave because they were loitering.

A fight broke out, with a man repeatedly punching the security guard. It appeared some people tried to stop the fight, but the men continued to pummel the guard.

At one point, a man is seen using a chair to hit one of the men fighting the guard and they end up falling through the front doors into the parking lot.

Police eventually arrived to break up the fight. One man, described as a transient who lives in the area, was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon. Police are continuing to investigate to see if charges will be brought against anyone else.

Authorities acknowledge the restaurant is a site for frequent problems and they try to provide a police presence in the area.

Here’s a perfect example of what cops see from people, not thugs, but every day people EVERY DAY! Support from good and honest hard-working Americans who are sick and tired of liberal media “coverage” and nonsensical rhetoric from Internet basement dwellers…good people who know the truth and are tired of seeing the continuing moral decay of this country, tired of seeing society’s protectors being vilified by Monday Morning QB’s, tired of thugs running loose…folks who want this country to be a safe place where they can go get breakfast without being subjected to evil…
I know the uniformed officer was not a police officer, but was in fact doing his job trying to get drunk loiterers to move along…fueled at least by alcohol, these thugs decide to take on a uniform…and what do the citizens in the area do? Do they stand there cheering? Do they assault the officer? NO! They fight back, they intervene, the call the police, they do everything EXCEPT help the assaultive thugs…just as people are doing all across the US…
Kudos to those outstanding people who were at least trying to do the right thing…
And I hope that some Santa Monica area law enforcement agency will contact this security professional, and/or his employer, and provide him with some additional defensive tactics training…he did pretty well, but imagine how fast this encounter would’ve ended had the officer been exposed to and trained to proficiency on BJJ…I am very thankful that this officer survived the encounter, and that those folks who simply thought they were there to get a McMuffin and coffee showed some sack and did the right thing…
    Stay Safe!!

I can remember when we had vagrancy laws THAT WERE ENFORCED. They were set aside in a fit of sentimentality for the bums that were renamed the “homeless”. Ever notice that when the left tries to shove something awful down your throat they give it a sweet sounding name? When the McDonalds is forced to close because decent people don’t want to be around this sort of thing they will be branded as racist and uncaring of the community.
